VIDALZ : Virtual Biopsy to Aid in the Early Detection and Prediction of Alzheimer’s Disease

The project

The VIDALZ Research Project (Virtual Biopsy to Aid in the Early Detection and Prediction of Alzheimer’s Disease) aims to further explore the neurobiological mechanisms underlying the pathophysiology of Alzheimer’s disease, particularly metabolic pathways identified by biological markers for the early detection of Alzheimer’s disease. The project involves a doctoral thesis and a two-year postdoctoral fellowship.

This project is at the heart of our scientific priorities and strengthens local collaborations—which are essential to the development of the laboratory and the imaging platform—with CIC and IRTOMIT on a project addressing a major societal challenge: Alzheimer’s disease.
